Track Layers

You can also create track layers and record different parts on each layer using the same instrument or track settings. This can be really handy if you have overlapping patterns that you want to be able to edit separately or if you want to conserve CPU resources.

Tip: Another great way to conserve CPU resources is to use the 'Freeze Track' function in Project5. It works on both Audio and MIDI tracks.
