Third-party audio editors

While Project5 does offer audio editing features, many people like to use third party audio editors for precision editing. With Project5, you can use up to two external audio editors that will open up without interrupting your workflow.

Popular editors include Audition, Audacity, Goldwave, and SoundForge.
