Live performance
Project5 is great to take on the road as well. If you are a laptop musician,
they are many ways you can incorporate it in a live show.
You can use virtual instruments to play in real-time, just like you would a
hardware based synth or keyboard. You can even use multiple MIDI controllers
routed to multiple instruments, or use multiple, layered instruments, or split
synths
from one MIDI controller.
You can also use your MIDI controller to trigger patterns or grooves inside
the GrooveMatrix. This is great when you have too many parts in a song, and
not enough musicians on stage to play them.
If you use external hardware synths, you can have Project5 send
them MIDI data using the integrated MIDI Out feature.
