Project5 is also an open system meaning you can add any of your existing VST or DirectX instruments, or add additional instruments from Project5.com and other popular third party manufacturers.

There are also many SFZ, WAV, and REX expansion packs available for Dimension LE, and additional Velocity drum kits from Smart Loops, as well as free Velocity kits from Cakewalk and other Cakewalk users.

You can also use Project5 as a ReWire host or client. That means you can host software like Reason right inside Project5, which adds ,many new features including audio recording and VST/DX support for Reason users.

You can also use Project5 inside any ReWire host like SONAR to add more extensive editing and mixing features.
