Device Chains = Instrument Patches + Effects + Mix Settings

Project5 includes track presets called Device Chains, that allow you to get drums, synth, and bass sounds with just a click of the mouse—you are instantly ready to record.

You can create your own device chains using any combination of instrument, effect, and mix settings, which can be recalled with a click of the mouse.

This saves you time, especially if you have complex signature sounds that take a lot of time to set-up. Instead, just save them once as a Device Chain, and they will be there, instantly accessible whenever you need them.
