Creating Beats

One of the easiest things to do in Project5 is create exciting drum beats that are often the heart and soul of your song. Project5 comes with two drum instruments, Velocity and nPulse, that can be used to create your beats.

You can program drums much like you would with classic hardware samplers that are popular in the world of hip hop and electronica. Just use your MIDI keyboard controller or the step sequencer inside of Project5 to input the parts.

If your timing is not perfect, you can use Input Quantize. With this feature, you can create drum beats in real-time that will play in perfect time and sound great.
