Arranging Your Song in the Track View
Project5 offers you more than one way to create and arrange songs. The more
traditional way is to use the Arrange Pane (Track view). Within the Arrange
Pane, you can start building or editing your arrangement using Patterns and
Loops. And
you can right-click on your mouse from anywhere in the arrange pane and access
any loop in your project instantly.
Audio or MIDI Patterns and Loops can be set to
any length of measure, time signature, or
tempo. You can also take recorded audio and turn it into an audio pattern (groove
clip). If a pattern is too long or short, just use your mouse to adjust it
to the desired length.
If your songs pace doesn't feel right, just choose a
new tempo.
If you need an additional part, preview new patterns in the browser
and drag the one you like best into your project. It's that simple to add to
and refine your song idea. Project5
includes over 1800 patterns which you can use to get a song going.
