A phase shifter / phase delay. It lets you arbitrarily adjust the phase of a sound. This allows to change the stereo image, avoid inverted phase situations or create stereo from a mono signal.

Applications for fx:phase include stereo channel re-alignment, vocal removal, MS Matrix processing, center/surround encoding and a lot more.

Four different processing modes are featured: Left/Right, Mid/Side, Center/Surround encoded and Surround/Center encoded phase adjustment. fx:phase also offers a width control to make the stereo image wider or more narrow, an output level setting and a phase meter with pre/post monitoring.
